I have a 2014 4HS PHEV.

I wonder if the new steering wheel will be backwards compatible with this as it includes heating for the steering wheel? I hoped it would be in mine but alas no. I know gloves are cheaper and I can pre-heat or cool the car but there are times when warm hands and a cool head are needed

Tried out the wheel heater last Saturday during a test drive - a bit odd at first (like driving an electric car) but I think will be most welcome during the winter especially as I don't like driving with gloves on.

I doubt that it can be retrofitted - it must require slip rings built into the steering column to feed the current up to it.

Heated stearing wheel? Rather decadent, even in cold Norway. In Japan they have heated toilet seats, but it has not caught on elsewhere. :)
