    Bits for sale, probably.

Likely to 'let go' of the PHEV early next year and no point in letting the dealer benefit from the extras. So there will be rear seat entertainment system (2 x DVD), dog guard and rubber boot mat available. Any interest?

The good and the bad news.

Having had the car almost half a year now I have to admit I've not really paid too much attention to EV range, mpg etc. lately, other than to note that it does seem to have fallen off somewhat. Have been very much putting this down to the colder weather, but I thought it would be a good idea to...

    Ecotricity - not hugely reliable?

Seems a bit churlish complaining about something that's free, but my track record of success with these isn't great. Okay I've probably only used them 5 or 6 times, but last night was a complete fail - it just kept say 'synchronization error' and wouldn't work at all. The time before that it...

and my latest little niggle is...

The window lock button  On every other car I have had, pressing the window lock button prevents rear seat passengers (ie. kids) from opening and closing windows, BUT allows the driver to operate all windows from the 'master' switch. But not the PHEV. Depressing the window lock button...

    Calling all Rugby fans!

Sorry to go 'off topic' but this is of considerably more importance to me than earning eco-leaves! Anyone else watching the games tomorrow? Something for everyone (even the Aussies!). Of course there's only one game that really matters and that's White v Black. Won't be there unfortunately, but...

Have you had it serviced yet? How good was the experience?

As title really - I would be interested to hear of any experiences, good or bad. Do they seem to know what they are doing? Given that Mitsubishi have no history of hybrids I wonder how well trained and up to speed the technicians / service managers will be. There were some slightly worrying...

    Spotted!

Thought I'd start a thread for those rare occasions when you come across another PHEV, so you can post on here in case it's another member. I'll start the ball rolling - spotted about 9AM this morning just outside Grayshott, Hants/Surrey border - a grey one with FV14 --- plate. 8-)

    South East or South Central

Not wishing to be outdone by 'our friends in the North', anyone in the South East wishing to register interest here? I'm on the Hampshire/Surrey border for starters... :D

    Formula e motor racing

As a long time (albeit slightly lapsed) Formula-1 fan I'm intrigued by this. Anyone else thinking of going to the next Donington test? http://www.fiaformulae.com/en/guide/testing.aspx

What Car - updates on long term test here

http://www.whatcar.com/car-news/july/1303096 Not exactly extensive coverage, but interesting nonetheless. Shame they don't give any details on the long-run fuel costs, given that he's racked up over 7k miles now :?

How many miles (or km) have you managed on one tank?

Having got to 750 miles with still around 3/4 of my original tank of petrol I thought it would be interesting to see what distances people are covering before needing to top up. I'm hoping to get to 1500 miles and make it into September before I need the first fill 8-)

Mpg calc reset - Poll request

Following a discussion on the 'things for Mitsubishi to improve' thread can I ask others who already have their cars to check something please? I'm having difficulty getting the car to calculate any meaningful mpg figures because I can't get the reset mode to work properly. So could you do...

    SD Card Audio

Bear with me on this because until last weekend the 6-disc multichanger in my old car was about as technical as I got when it comes to music  I have somehow successfully uploaded most of my CD collection, via iTunes, onto an SD card and am finding it generally surprisingly easy to...

    Tesla Model S

Saw one of these for the first time today - a bit like a cross between a Jag XF and a (new) Maserati Ghibli. I have to admit I WANT ONE

    Random Bong?

So I've had the car for a week and a half now and still haven't figured this out :? Every now and then (and always in the same places) the car bongs at me. But to date I've not seen any messages to go with it. What on earth is it trying to tell me and why is it being so coy?

    New owner - lessons learned

Tailgate power operation Okay, so taking up aitchjaybee's idea I'm starting this thread as a place to log anything that you discover about your PHEV that might be helpful to others. So I'll kick off with the tailgate issue. There are 3 ways to power open the tailgate: button on the dash to the...

    It's here

Picked it up this afternoon :D :D :D But I have no idea how to upload pictures :(

    What finance option?

Question for the UK buyers mainly here as I'm not sure what finance options are being offered in other markets. I was planning on taking the 0% HP option as I hate paying interest, but read an article yesterday about EV's having poor residuals. This got me thinking - as the PHEV is mostly going...

Another really useful forum for EV owners & buyers

Browsing for information to help me choose a charging point I came across this forum with loads of useful stuff: https://speakev.com/

    Just ordered!

Well, have just taken the plunge and ordered :D. Have been a Disco (Land Rover) owner for 8 years, been waiting for a new model but got tired of paying for 22.5mpg etc. First read about the PHEV about a month ago (on a Disco forum!) and been waiting for the dealer to get their demo, which I...
