At my work there are a number of charge points :D

Unfortunately, the charge points are rather odd. They are 16A 3 pin points. The only way to connect to them is to use a 16A to 13A charge cable like this (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-...=undefined&sr=8-1&keywords=Fly+lead+16a+cable) and then plug in the 13A cable that came with the car.

I would like to get a decent length cable which is waterproof. I've spent hours researching, but can't find anything.

Does anyone know of such a cable?

The blue Commando plugs are readily available, try Screwfix.

If you want a water resistant trailing 13A socket, Masterplug make one which is IP54 rated. I found one on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Masterplug-Weatherproof-Outdoor-Trailing-13A-Socket-IP54-Rated-Rewireable-Power-/400644381708?pt=UK_BOI_Materials_Supplies_Electrical_ET&hash=item5d48441c0c

Then you just need some 2.5mm 3 core flex of a suitable length to connect it together. Easy.

... or you could buy a pre-made Commando extension like this:
http://www.screwfix.com/p/ced-240v-extension-lead-blue-2-5mm-x-14m/23418
and swap the socket for the Masterplug IP54 13A one.

If you are anywhere near the coast, try your local sailing chandlery - this type of plug is standard for shorepower outlets in marinas.

Thank you both for your helpful suggestions. I'll try the local sailing club first and if I can't get anything from them, I'll make my own.

Thanks again.
