My PHEV arrives in a week or so. I wonder, is there a reliable and PHEV relevant list of charging points that I can access in the UK, and how do I access them, how do I pay? A hunt on the web does throw up numerous lists, some have different availability of points to others. Does anyone one know of a site that is most up to date and relevant for the PHEV?
I originally had no intention of ever getting an electric car, but 4 weeks following this forum changed that.
Thanks

In the UK it seems a few councils have joined chargeyourcar.org.uk
You need to register a credit card and pay £20 for this first year access card. Most locations have free charging at the moment and also free parking at some.
A few motorway services use electric highway you can get a free card from ecotricity.co.uk

ecotricity accepts a number of other more local cards e.g. Source London (so no need to get both) and they offer a discount on their standard supply tariff for EV users but you can get cheaper.

The ecotricity card and charges are both free. They also have chargers at Ikea.
