Phone Connection issue - help

My phone connection (android) had been working fine.
However, I now have a problem.

On receiving an incoming call, or dialing out, the ring tone can be heard over the car system.
However, as soon as the call is answered, the voice can only be heard on the phone device?

Is this a simple docking issue, or yet another problem with the car?

This is an issue known more for iPhone / iOS than Android. The latest software update for the hands free system of the car seems to have resolved this issue, but not for the iPhone 6 that seems to bring more issues.
