Thats why I'm looking to buy another one for backup. They are selling now a cable named "ray", but if you change the schuko for the brasilian plug It only charges at 6amps. With the spark I did that in 2015 and is chaging evenry day ate 16amps with no issues..

Hi, I use the charge-amps EVSE called "Spark", and I love it, I can plug in any outlet since It don´t have that heavy controlbox (is all in the conector) and is very light. But I can´t find It anywhere and they are not selling anymore on the company´s site.

since here in Brazil there only type2 bmw wallboxes, I use an adapter bought at http://evbitz.uk/EVBitz.uk/T2_T1_Cables_-_1P.html Works fine and charge At 16amps.

I put a padlock on the doors handle and secure the cable. Today i use the type 1 to charge at a regular outlet at the mall and when I arrive someone took the cable out of the outlet, the car didnt charge :oops: , but the cable was still there since my padlock was securing it..

My Phev comes with a charger that only works in 220v. But I bought a chager at http://charge-amps.com/, that charges at 110v also. Is not fast but useful. Now I can charge anywhere..

Hi there, I'm using a portable charger from Ev institute and using this charger on the go several times. I always use 10amp for circuit i don,t know, at friends house or using a mall outlets. Interesting that when a plug to a 220v outlets the charger keeps chargin in 9-10 amps continuesly...

Is your AC was in auto mode? My was in 22c in auto. In that case, I was also in charging mode, Since then, I'm saving about 30% and release the save botton when stuck in traffic in hot days. never happens again..
