Has anyone had problems with the radio volume button on the steering wheel not working properly? Mine worked once or twice, and now when I use it, it changes the station instead of the volume.

Does left/right also change the stations, or only up/down?

Has the steering wheel been removed for any reason?

I'm wondering if it is a configuration change in software, or if connections have been changed somewhere.

There is a known concern with the steering wheel switches. Not a huge amount of them failing, but enough to get Mitsubishis attention. The current fix is replacement for the faulty parts, as no modified or improved parts have been announced as yet.

My volume down button on steering wheel feels like the spring is missing. Up works fine but when I press down the volume sometimes drops to 0 and I have to turn back up. Waiting till my next service to have them look at. Also the driver's side door panel is loose, they fixed once but it has loosened again.

No the steering wheel has not been removed and yes both buttons changed the station.

they are trying to charge me over 900CDN at mountain mitsubishi in hamilton to replace the whole steering column when the switches replacement is aboiut 15-25 bucks, or, you just pop the cover off the button, pull up the plunger and clean it, the grease underneath to lubricate it actually causes it to stick. this should be a standard warranty replacement.

Bandit - what year is your model? I have a 2020 model. My engine light came on and I took my vehicle to Mountain Mitsubishi where they found the AC condenser packed up and something else. They replaced at at no cost to me even though I am over 65,000. I can only speak very highly of the service they gave me.
I have no trouble with anything else and I am extremely happy with my vehicle even though I would like better mileage from my fully charged battery (30 km) but most of my running around these days is as about that. Of course I use some gas but overall I wait until I am around 1/4 tank or slightly less and then fill up and each time I do I have done around 900 km. My guess is that I get over a 1000km or more on my tank. ( I reset my trip mileage each time I fill up) so maybe I use less than $50 month whereas in the past I was spending +$150.
From this forum I have learnt not to use B until I am done to around half of battery and have found this has helped. I live my PHEV as I don't have to worry about running out of 'Steam'. When I visit family in Toronto ( from Niagara) I just let her run mainly using cruise control at 110/115 km/Hr.
I realize that I have come off topic; but so what!
