27 months till next service

Just had the 45000km service and the PHEV when reset, now has over 2 years before it needs to be serviced. Does not seem very logical to me.

Surely the MMC design engineers would have realized that a maximum of 12 months would be right.

I would suggest that the engineer has set the date / miles too far ahead as it is part of the service schedule to reset it. With your kind of usage, I would suggest you are a "severe" user (see post on another topic from today). I would get them to reset it to the proper value if you are close to the dealer, otherwise, just keep your own record of the mileage and take it in when YOU think it is due.
