Long Haul Performance

Has anybody used the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV for long haul travelling? I just would like to know its performance. Also I am interested in Series Hybrid Mode. Does it work properly?

Actually, the most appropriate mode for long haul performance is Parallel Hybrid mode. You can find a great deal of information about Series Hybrid mode within this Outlander PHEV Forum.

Well I can't say from experience, cause I haven't driven the Outlander long haul, but these types of cars in general are very useful in long haul if you know how to drive them. By that I mean if you can use the regenerative breaking and if you know when to use fuel mode and when hybrid. It will take some getting use to but when you get the hang of it you will be saving a lot of money on gas stations
