Has anyone had joy opening the car end plug to check the microswitch. I can't get the granny charger to work, all I get is is flashing green light (no click of charger engaging). Dash is detecting the charger is plugged in. A couple of posts I've seen suggest microswitch problem

Yeh, I've seen the video and have repaired the 240v input before, I thought I had a problem with the white plug that goes into the car. I stripped the charger down completely to check the pcb's for any obvious damage (none found) and checked that I had continuity on the car side which checked out good. After putting it back together, I tried it again and hey presto it's working. It could be a problem on the manual stop button, or the reset unit that you hear click when the charger activates. I will see how long I get before replacing it!
