Hi, all,

I suspect many will be coming up to (or already have had) their first service. What I'd like to know is, has anything been said about minor modifications you may have done affecting your warranty? I'm thinking of disconnected beepers and buzzers, lighting mods etc., the sort of things we talk about on here.

I've disconnected a few beepers, and fitted LED DRL's, so do you recommend I re-instate them back to original specs before the first service?

This is a question I asked Hyundai about my Santa Fe a couple of years ago. They said that it was fine unless a mod could be shown to have caused a problem.

I kept the email just in case but never had a problem. I would guess Mitsubishi would have the same policy.

just had service done at mitsu main dealer, no problem with silenced boot open/close beeper and LED side(position) lights.
