Will £5K Govt Grant for EVs Continue?

Totally agree with that. Does anyone have any more info on this?

How many miles (or km) have you managed on one tank?

Maddog I think what you are getting on your PHEV is brill. However, as you've said previously you are recharging very regularly. My concern if I was recharging as frequently as you would be how quickly the battery would wear out.

Need some help folks - Home charge unit research UK

I started looking when Mitsubishi said it was taking orders for the outlander. I was one of the first to place my order (back in March of this year). My dealer really pushed British Gas but did mention there were other options, kinda "you wanna go with British Gas but ...". My first search of...

    Discounts available?

I got it in the UK having seen the Ausi brochure and thinking it looks real good. In actual fact in the UK it is rubbish. Instead of the lights being in the footwell as well as under the footwell it is only under the footwell. Only comes on when you open the door. It really is nothing anyone...

How do you actually Update the Software

But surely it should not require 3G to update. The Wifi was connected to the car and it updated upto 50% whilst connected to the car wifi (i.e. with no internet). Are the updates not just downloaded onto the android device and then transferred from the android device to the car? I am sure my...

How do you actually Update the Software

I tried to update the software yesterday. Like others have described on this forum it got to 50%, whirred for at least 10 mins at 50% and then I got a lost connection error (although my android tablet was still connected to the car). I tired again and it got stuck at about 40% and then 32%...

    PHEV deliveries

I was told that GX4hs's were not arriving until September in the UK. Other versions would arrive sooner.

    B? All the time

My guess is that the paddles operate gears on the dynamo that recharges the batteries; those dynamos obtaining power from and affecting the amount of friction to the wheels. I have notice that you always generate more power if you are in a higher B gear and are putting your foot on the break...

How many miles (or km) have you managed on one tank?

When I got mine from my dealer nearly three weeks ago now (20 June 2014) they said they had put in £25 and that gave me just over half a tank. I have done 500 miles on that and think I could do roughly another 100 before having to fill up (there's not much left). Unfortunately, given that I do...

    Anyone using Chargevision?

Just googled this and got from another EV forum what it is. Surprised chargemaster did not give me access to this as I obtained my charging point directly from them. Please let me know how they respond.

    PHEV - Ordered!

Welcome to the "fold". Definitely understand how exciting it gets and how the waiting is unbearable. Well worth it in the end though!

Suggestions - How Mitsubishi might improve PHEV

I just wish there had been more options with regard to the interior of the vehicle. For instance, I would have been happy to pay extra to have a proper leather interior (as opposed to leather faced), better panelling etc.. Would have also paid more to get a better multi media system with a...

    Actual cost to charge

having checked it again tonight it seems right. About 90p a day or thereabout to charge (add the extra .25 of a penny that it won't calculate and it'll be about £1.10 per day or thereabouts).

    Actual cost to charge

So if I am paying 14.25 pence per kwh for electric, on the screen on the PHEV where it asks for the KW cost to charge, am I right in putting in £0.14 i.e. is it asking for the price per kwh? If not, how would I work out or where would I find the price per kw?

What colour is your PHEV? - YOU CAN NOW REGISTER YOUR VOTES

Atlantic Grey. Sorry to all the blue owners but I just did not like the blue, white gets dirty too quick and black's not great for summer and is just ordinary. Love the grey colour :)
