    60k miles up

Faultless over the last 10k, but needs a new set of brake pads with the 62k service. At idle there are loads of strange whirry noises from the engine compartment though, sounds like a jumbo taking off, these have appeared in the last 3 months or so, but don't seem to be affecting performance...

The clock and GPS navigator changes time occasionally

My clock go to the wrong times occasionally, then a bit later it is ok. Also, when the clocks change it can take up to a couple of days to catch up. Quirk!!

    Service warning messages

I did have immediate power loss though, too.

    Service warning messages

Not wanting to worry you, it is probably a completely different cause, but the RBS (Regenerative Breaking System) dash warning preceeded the failure of my battery pack. This required a complete replacement, at Colt Cars.

18 months in, 50,000 miles up.

Yeah, it must be said, I haven't worn them all out. Some were replaced because of damage and I had a lot of problems with electrical issues (intermittent ABS kicking in and dash board warning lights) from tyre matching which has resulting in good, part-worn tyres being replaced to counter wear...

18 months in, 50,000 miles up.

Just checked in and there are a few points to follow up on. I too have 2 dealers in the area (by that I mean within 40 miles). One, based on antics running up to the first service are a complete joke, the other the total opposite and couldn't be more helpful. I think that it can only be expected...

18 months in, 50,000 miles up.

Just had the 4th service. Came just in the nick of time as the rear wheel bearings were about in meltdown - guess it comes from hauling over 2 tonnes up and down mountain passes every day. Extended the service to a couple of days (dealer has been exceptional as usual). So after 18 months, not...

    Average total range

My last word on the matter. 1. If I fill up with 60 miles remaining on the dash, then drive 204 miles and fill up with 60 miles on the dash - that is a full tank - can you grasp that concept. 2. Putting a 'smilie' at the end of an insult doesn't change it from being an insult. 3. I would offer...

Anko When in a hole stop digging. For your information, I'm I am paying for my own fuel - my fuel card is an integral part of my compensation package - is this too hard for you to understand? So you tell me what is wrong with my driving, let's take today for example. 204 miles of motorway...

I would be ashamed to admit to such wastage and that someone else was footing the bill as well. Usual bigotry on here I see. I tell you what, follow me on my daily journey and see what you get.

I rarely get more than 200 miles from a full tank. That is either fast motorway, or rural country. This includes liberal use of 'charge' button top-ups needed to haul me up the mountain passes. So relieved that I neither pay for the car nor the fuel.

    Paying personal 'electric' miles

My total annual tax liability (40%) for car plus fuel card (company and total private mileage paid) is £1150. The PHEV saves an absolute fortune, both ways, over 'normal' BiK rate cars. I can't claim back any charge costs, as, as has been said, electricity is not classed as a fuel by HMRC - so...

    RBS System Failure

Hurray!! I have my car back, complete with full replacement battery pack. Dealer covered themselves in glory, no so sure about Mitsubishi/Colt Cars. Anyway, up and at 'em. Though not without it's faults, it's an awful lot better than the hire car!

    RBS System Failure

Update Still no car, but some progress. Mitsubishi Japan have now approved Colt Cars to progress with the repair - presumably replacement battery pack. I am hoping to get the car back before Xmas - that will have been approaching 2 months. The other car at the dealer with the same problem is...

    RBS System Failure

Still no car..... At least Mitsubishi has now rented me a 4x4 from Enterprise - a Kia! how ironic, at least I don't have to still drive the Skoda! Still not sure the Kia Sportage is worth the £600 company car lease cost that I pay!
