Yes, but it looks like you need to use the app in the first place.
So if you don't use the app (either delete it or de-register your device), there'll be no data travelling between the car and anything else. I recently removed the wifi from my phone as I was fed up with it over riding my home...
Sadly not me, just someone I am aware of, who takes awesome photos of the Applecross area.
I've not been up there in a while, but there'll probably be snow on the hill top at least.
Someone has to pay for the electricity.
In Aberdeen the council currently soaks up this cost. Last year it was just over £10,000, for 70,000 kWh.
I assume when more people start charging and it cost more to service the units, there be a charge for the electricity.
Where about are you headed?
There's a CHAdeMO charger in Aviemore which is on the CYC network. Car park costs 50p for 4 Hours IIRC.
Most of the snow is melting. The roads are clear, there's not a lot of snow left at the Lecht, there is more at Cairngorm.
Still might not have been long enough. I know of one CHAdeMO point where the cable isn't long enough to use on the PHEV if the RHS bay is taken, due to the location on the charging point.
Saying that the point I'm speaking about normally has a Leaf parked in it, not charging.
I must have bought a Friday as my experience seems to differ from most here.
Acceleration off the mark, it's really quite slow. I'm not sure what other people have driver before but I find it too slow. When I floor it to make a gap, nothing happens for about a second then it moves off, a...
Yes, if you are quicker off the mark than other cars, the other cars aren't trying. Sorry, to break it to you but the PHEV is a really really slow car off the mark. Put your foot down and nothing happens. It's not quick and it's not premium. There is plastic everywhere. The only redeeming...
Depends on who you speak to as there are quite a few here who really like the PHEV.
Anyway here's some answers.
Yes - BMW and Merc are premium brands, Mitsubishi isn't
Yes - it is horrendously slow. Glaciers will beat you to 60.
Top Speed is 106, I've found that it really doesn't like...
Someone decided to take revenge on a PHEV for the loss of oil related jobs in the North East of Scotland.
TBH I've no idea, but someone has scraped something harsh along the length of the car, the paint has come off and the white under coat is visible.
Car is 3 weeks old. No other cars in the...
Without incurring your wrath and being called a pedant again, you're comparing apples with oranges.
Have a look at this thread http://www.myoutlanderphev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1970
There are many people who have bought the Outlander because of the low BIK.
So it's fair to assume...
I've never had it on a motorway.
All "A" class roads, so catching up with folk doing 45 mph, over taking them, back to 60, slowing down for the windy bits, back to 30 for the little villages, back up to 45 or 60. There's not a lot of constant speeds.
It's about what I get in town on petrol only.
Last night, zero charge, snowing, frozen screen, drove to the shops, I managed 6.4 mpg. (had heater, stereo, heated seats and steering wheel on)
