The lease is through her name, and it's her name on the V5C, she's paying the full lease amount too.... Her employer has no 'input' in any way, which is why I asked what is the difference between a company and lease car?

Hi all, been a while since last postings... Anyway, 7 months in owning our PHEV and all 'was' going well..... She's been paying the 'lease' through salary sacrifice and we've managed well with the reduce wage income, fair enough. Fast forward to this months pay slip, and her tax code changed...

And all she said to that maby..... 'Right'....... :?

On these hybrids, just HOW do work out the MPG?? I'd like to know how to, but when trying to factor in electric usage, it's getting complicated..... :oops: It's also to know if she's getting the best out of the car... :roll:

But you don't get stranded at an Ikea with your PHEV!..... Was at Gateshead's Ikea Sunday, and spotted both a Leaf and a Renault ZOE in the charge point spaces. Both drivers standing there with VERY worried looks on their faces as the fast charge point was out of order!!!!

We had it in charge mode nearly all morning, well before getting to Sutton Bank. We left it in charge mode thinking it would be the right thing to keep on top of the battery usage when climbing... Guess we were wrong. :oops: As for the burning smell.... We went to Royal Quays Outlet on...

Out today for a 'run', and ended up going up Sutton Bank. We had the car in charge mode at the time, but going up the bank, if you know it, it is a 25% gradient IICRC...... But found the car's engine to be screaming it's arse off going up... OK, we'd expected the engine to 'work' somewhat...

From what people say on here, the PHEV will only 'take' 16 amps even if you're hooked to a 32 amp charge point. The on board computer regulates the intake (I think)....

Just an (another) update... According to NHS Fleet, today (14/04/2015) is some kind of 'cut off' date for you receiving your cars' delivery date...??? So according to her boss, she should have / receive a delivery date tomorrow*, as she was only told this as she was leaving work tonight...

DAMAGE!!! :shock: Possibly in the inside and out... Make sure EVERTHING works - test as much as best you can....

Your ABS kicking in with only light braking could be the ABS sensors (or similar) are not picking up the reluctor ring on the back of the hub... This, or a similar problem can happen to older cars where the 'teeth' on the ring have rusted away, so the ABS sensor 'thinks' the wheel has locked...

You mean if we ordered it 'now'...? She ordered January, and is now getting 'twitchy' seeing all the others on the road now..... :roll:
