Which Black? - Ruby or Amythest.

Going to order my PHEV tomorrow or Monday, decided on the 4hs, and just need to fix the colour.

As with all my cars For the last 10 years I am going to go for black, the trouble is I can't decide on which version. Any recommendations or views would therefore be greatly appreciated.

I have Ruby as well - looks a lot better than the website shows.

I am very happy with the colour anyway - although my daughter chose it(!).

I also have the Ruby Black - gives a really nice contrast when the light strikes it at the right angle. Although most of the time it looks like plain black anyway.

The paint itself is pretty poor though - as much reported on this forum, it is prone to stone chips and general scratches etc. The light coloured primer draws attention to every mark. Not sure if the Amethyst is any tougher.

Looks good when cleaned and polished though
