This is definitely a relief for Mitsubishi, I was wondering how long will it take for them to fix the battery problem.I don't think this little delay hurt the Outlander sales very much especially because it wasn't covered in the media a lot(except for us car junkies=

This is quick. I thought it'd take time for Outlander PHEV to solve this issue. But they are back on track in no time.

That is exactly what I thought when heard about the battery pack problems.Mitsubishi really did a good job of recuperating.

Australia launch date was bumped back.

I guess the Outlander won't be bumped back too much considering that the issue was resolved by Mitsubishi as fast as it was...

I checked to see how long the Outlander launch date in Australia was bumped back but I couldn't find. I also think that the release date will not be pushed back nearly as far back as was portrayed in the media.

Here is the article. It says 8 months.

It's definitely longer than I expected Outlander to be bumped back... anyway thanks for the info.

Don't lose hope, a few weeks after that announcement, Mitsubishi made the announcement of doubling production to meet demand. So maybe it will work out after all.

Congratulations JanPieter on purchasing the Outlander, If you don't mind me asking what options did you choose when you ordered your Outlander?
